Ridiculous - the law needs changing - clear daylight between the trunk of the body and benefit to the attacker if that is not obvious...
It’ll mean more goals so worth doing anyway but we’ll still have instances where it’s a millimetre of daylight or not. Will never get binned now but it should be and if it did we’d still have tv companies showing what the decision would have been with VAR and managers kicking off about it.
17:00 Norway Women v Finland Women UEFA Women's EURO 2025 Group A BBC Two 20:00 Switzerland Women v Iceland Women UEFA Women's EURO 2025 Group A ITV1
Both Norway and Finland have been equally matched in this EURO womens game, an hour gone and 1-1 It's been a fairly watchable game, and one thing that is really noticable is the lack of cheating, fouling and general bad behaviour. I think that's what is making it enjoyable to watch.
Norway 2-1 lovely cheeky goal, went pass two players, turned the third, cross to the far post that goes in.
Switzerland v Iceland up next. The Swiss didn't deserve to lose their first game against Norway, not seen Iceland play so don't know what they are like, but they also lost their first game.
Swiss 2-0 got to say been really impressed with the mentality of this team. They didn't just sit back but went for the kill.
FT 2-0 Iceland out Swiss and Finland will fight it out for seccond place, unless Norway slip up against Iceland, then first will be up for grabs.
This group, I've seen worse mens games for sure. At least they've been entertaining and not tippy tappy at the back. No cheating either, no diving for penalties.
That game tonight was way more entertaining than some of the borefests of Premier games I saw last season. Seriously the men need to move over.
