This is why, based on the QA, that Alzate is £8 million and not 4 because he wants a chance to improve himself, if you get my gist.
Exactly mate “He claims to be” He is a businessman and he’s a really really **** one if he’s using his own money or loans in his own name I imagine he’s taking loans out in the clubs name
Can you believe anything that he says right now? Until it comes out as true or false, whenever that will be, everything Acun says is tainted!
Can't believe I am waking up to this news this morning. Ever since we signed Walter as a manager I felt the owner was a bit out there. That press conference the other day he must know things aren't right. Even if this is rescinded quickly there's a lack of trust there now, he's saying one thing whilst there's something else completely different happening .
well yeah obviously I get that....but I thought I'd seen something that said Villa hadn't complained to the EFL
i suspect he may tell us fans we can do what we want eat what we want, drink what we want.. maybe something else too
Yeah and the Barry loan was seen as quite the coup, perhaps that was made because of the upfront payment on the loan? it still bugs me, I assume the majority of clubs expenditure is player salary, and these days the lump some of income I assume is commercial and the sponsorship deals only? So it must surely be quite easy to understand money in money out - why then do players with barely any profile income get paid so much? They are not a finite resource, theirs always another player
I'm a glass half full kinda guy. At least with Ehab we know the finances will be in order. What a clusterfuck.
The EFL’s fit-and-proper-person test isn’t worth the paper it’s written on if it allows crooks and arseholes like Acun, Chansiri, Yongge, Morris, Pozzo, Cellino etc. to buy and own football clubs. All they do is place sanctions after the fact.
Just one more thing to add to the 'this doesn't make sense' list. I get the concerns .... but ..... why can't people just talk sensibly about the concerns but then wait for full facts, including a proper response, to come before jumping so wildly to their conclusions, including calling all and sundry '****s', hanging the owner, even wanting Ehab back (ffs). I guess I should expect the drama queens to be drama queens, coz that what drama queens do. But surprised certain others are joining in. There's just too much that doesn't make sense. The only conjecture I've read that does make sense is what OLM posted about what MIGHT have happened with Villa (who allegedly didn't initiate the action), but even then we don't know. Get a grip and let's see what actually unfolds over the next few days.
I think it does make sense though…he’s an incompetent businessman. That’s not saying he’s a crook or a fraud but at the very very least he has no idea what he is doing and that’s why we are constantly seeing these hints that the club is being badly run. Too much smoke, even if we can’t see the fire.
At least wait for a statement from the clubs official website. Still nothing on the EFL embargo list. Some of the Clowns on here want to be careful with their libellous accusations. Today should bring some clarity too the unhealthy situation.
I think most of us are waiting for the full facts in a proper response? I know if I was in his current position and my name was in print as some sort of welcher,I'd have been making a Club Statement at 9am putting my side of it out there?
For what it's worth, I don't think Acun is a bad guy or has any bad intentions at all, I think it's the exact opposite. He's nice to people and wants to be loved by everyone. He thinks that spending more money and doing more for us as fans is going to get him affection from people but it's gone a bit far. I actually like him, I just wish he would be more sensible financially.
