Ah man, this thread is gonna do me no good at all. Currently on day 656 without a beer, but hopefully that'll end soon. Im donating a kidney to the Mrs and was advised to limit alcohol intake, so decided to completely cut it out till the kidney is out, hopefully in the next 2 or 3 months.

Pint of choice would be Kronenbourg for lager, but top of the list would be Guinness. Also like Murphys, but harder to come by now (seems like it may be making a comeback though).
Used to love draught Caling Premier, but the cans available now are just not the same.
When I was a young-un used to drink Holsten Pils or Becks, but both of them have had their alcohol content reduced over the years.
Was also partial to a pint of newcastle exhibition and mcewans scotch, both sadly long gone.

Current tipple is Guinness 0.0, but not for long. <cheers>
Tesco doing cans of Murphy’s - I’d been looking for it for years

Aye you get Estrella Damm and such, just never see Galicia here.

Dunno why. It’s big over there they sponsor all the clubs in region Celta, Depor etc
The closet to Spanish lager in England is Madri.

Peroni in England is **** compared to Italy, and the better beer is Nastro Azzuro, but for some reason the bottle colours are different, Peroni is brown and Nastro is green. In England it's the other way around.

Can’t recall the name 100% of it when I was in Wales, but think it was black dragon and my god that was amazing.

local brew from the ringwood brewery is amazing

Love a Staropramen but it always tastes better in the casino, for whatever reason…

Pub in my village when I started going out served either Tenents Extra or Einhorn. Literally each end of the spectrum.

Carling Premier was a game changer mid to late nineties.

Now its Peroni, Staropramen or Stella.

Loved a pint of Exhibition when I was younger. Trophy was decent too.

Nowadays I'm really into Craft Beers. Unfortunately, Sunderland isn't the best place to go for them. There are some tremendous breweries on Tyneside who are currently knocking the spots off anything brewed on Wearside. Haway Lads, up your game!

Full Circle, Almasty and Two by Two all produce excellent stuff. I was delighted to pick up Full Circle Revolver cans in Asda in Wembley back in May.

My Favourites are Full Circle's propeller, Life and Death by Vocation and Green Mountain by Thornbridge.

For the OP: Thornbridge are producing Jaipur Faith, which is a collaboration with Northern Monk Brewery. Should be worth a try.

I’ll try and pick 3 from, Guinness, Trophy, caffreys, Double Maxim, Camden Stout and something called 1906 Black that I had in Santa Cruz in December.
Ooh look at me having a holiday just afore Christmas.
Not sure if this is the same thing
But it was very good

Stella, Carling worse than piss.

Tim Taylors landlord if served right, lovely.

Love a good Porter.

Guinness...usually a decent option in places where they have no idea what a good beer is <laugh>

Had a Vanilla Stout once in Shields...can't recall the brewery but was the best ever I ever had. Tasted like alcoholic ice cream

Now we’re talking for lagers no one does it better than the Germans or the Czechs for me, augustina brau, spaten or steigl are superb, love a budva, staropramen or pravha too

tend to just go with neck oil on a match day though so easy to sink

honourable mention to jakehead from wylam too but it absolutely ruins me

I had a pint of Sapporo in Perth airport a couple of days ago and it was outstanding.
I also like Madri however it is not available in Perth.
Out of rhe Aussie lagers I have tried I like Hahn which kind of reminds me of old school LCL which was my favourite.
