He does look more like a winger in that video, although transfermarkd suggests he’s played a large majority of his games up front.

Not sure whether he plays in a 2 or just tends to roam about but he certainly looks a good player.

He’s primarily a striker but can play as a right-winger. He played mainly as a striker this season for Westerlo and scored 13 goals in 39 games (so a goal every three games).

If City have indeed pulled this deal off, then someone who can score 1 in 3 is proven to me, and suspect the only reason we've got him over others is due to Sergei which is also a good sign for his influence.

By that logic Bedia was proven given his record in Switzerland.

I went to the Maldives once about 18 years ago, hated it, first day was ok nice ocean views but from day 2 I was bored as ****kkk.
No pubs or restaurants to walk too, just imprisoned in a garden shed on stilts. Never again.
Went there for lunch 52 years ago landed on a Comet looked from the air as though the island was under water. Nice lunch.

Seen a lot of people whinging on social media about the links to Frigan. Don’t understand that myself. Acun said three years ago he wouldn’t scrimp on a proven striker. Since then we’ve signed Estupiñán, Tetteh, Connolly, Delap, Sharp, Ohio, Burstow, Bedia, Pedro and Joseph but none have been a long-term solution to our problems up front.

Frigan’s not cheap but he’s a young and dynamic forward. I honestly don’t think we’ll find a striker that’s better value for money in terms of ability, goals scored, age/potential, resale value etc.

Basing this just off that YouTube video but he looks very average, can’t believe that’s what €7 million gets you these days

Wouldn't disagree!

That said Frigans value if he's successful will increase significantly given his age, whereas Bedias value having only achieved 1 in 3 in one season and aged 29 is clearly overall not as good a record.

Bang on

A young striker, scored goals in a decent league, recommended by our manager, and some are still not happy. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I wonder if Acun and the brain team tell new head coaches they can pick one player as a ‘coach’s choice’ signing and the club will try to get them if it’s feasible.

Did you stay in one of those ‘honeymoon’ villas on stilts but needing to call for a boat to bring you to the island?
Didn’t fancy those for that reason, but we did stay in a villa on stilts in the Maldives which was amazing. Stroll up the jetty to bars and restaurants. Not many admittedly as the island was only about 400m x 100m!

Loved it though

Frigan was supposedly on Sunderland's acquisition list if they failed to get promoted, so that's a good sign.
