Last seasons team will always have a special place in our hearts but we need to massively improve the team and squad for next season. I'm not writing any player off for next season but our current squad was also 7th in form over the last 25 games or so, so it's clear we need to strengthen across the team

A lot of last seasons team will play loads, and I expect 6 or 7 to start to 1st game.

The club will have a good idea who can and can't step up, they won't get them all right but they've been pretty much spot on so far with their assessments so far when they think a player can't help us step (Embleton Wright Gooch DB pritchard are the obvious ones).

This summer is exciting as we are signing players that fit our model but are, at least on paper, massive upgrades on previous players signed

I want a birtish core to our team as I think that's really important for us as a club

Dont worry mate. You will know I am usually wrong about players <laugh> I thought Pembele would be an unreal signing after all...

They aren’t going to all leave though they will be bench options or even competing and performing well in pre season and might stake a claim to start

Pembele was still worth the risk, was class before his shocking injury - never been the same since

We spoke about this before the window opened but it's really shown how the midfield structure has been addressed to (in principle) become more balanced and suit Le bris. He inherited 3 very good players in Neil, Jobe and Rigg but I'm not sure the combination of 3 suited his style perfectly.

You weren’t showing an alternate view, you were belittling others views in a sarcastic comment

Last season means **** all if we go down shambolicaly..

We are in the big league, next step is survive year one then we can think about proper growth.

Sentiment is a lovely thing until it stunts you.

    Hume
    Big Dan
    Dan
    Wilson
    Mayenda
    Roberts
    Cirks
    Rigg
    Patto

That’s a good list of players who can step up, and there’s likely more.

If there wasnt 1000 pages I’d find my comment

but I said selling Bellingham will be a blessing in disguise for us as we had 3 good individuals. Now we have a perfect balance (even better if we sign one more midfielder)

If you’re going to come on and belittle others no you shouldn’t.

It’s a terrible attitude to have at people who use this as a place to post opinions
