I think it's like everything these days, it's no longer about giving the consumer a good product it's more about how much they can fleece out of the consumer. This has got to be getting to the stage now where it's all going to blow up in their face. All it needs now is one of the big clubs to go under or at some point the consumer is going to become bored with it all. I've not looked at the attendances for the CWC but I heard some were poor, but people generally highlight the negatives, it's what the average achieved over all and was it successful for the broadcasters, I never gave a single game a look, just watch the England U21's that was plenty for me....might watch some of the women, once I've fathomed out the decent nations....then again i might not. <laugh>

Most of the stadiums in the US are huge, their stadiums usually have a 65-70k capacity and most games are getting around 25-28k so filling up around a third of the stadiums, which is utterly tragic!
The Chelsea Benfica game the other day was stopped due to a storm warning with 5 minutes left on the clock, then after a 2 hour break the players came back out to play the remaining 5 minutes, by which time more than half of the 26k fans who turned out had ****ed off home, and Benfica ended up equalising in the final 5 minutes so it went to extra time in front of like 9,000 people, utter joke!!

Rain delay… Edit: utter woke nonsense.

I've watched none of the Club World Cup, so can't comment on the teams in it. I've no idea who plays for the team that beat them (City), will go look a bit later...

The more cynical side of me says did they throw the game for a brown envelope, but like I said, that's just me being cynical of it all. Afterall it appears to me the whole competition is about greed.
What do you expect from Theifa?

The more I see of Bellingham the more I'm glad we didn't get him, man's so far up his own arse it cringe.
. Like a kid in a playground shouting at all the lesser able kids.

Trent will no doubt be in for some of this in the future and that time I'll fully enjoy it<laugh>

Probably best Liverpool didn’t use Trent to lure him to Anfield……
