Would be surprised if we went after Jonathan David, not just because he’s probably above our level, but mainly because we’ve had bids in for other strikers, so if David was in talks, we’d not need another striker.

I don’t think we’ve been linked with any right wingers though, so maybe we’ve got a free agent RW joining. Would explain why we’re seemingly not targeting one in the press yet desperately need one.

 

Personally I think the press would be all over hendo coming back like, if it was as close as being announced this week I think the club would do a ‘worst kept secret in football’ type thing, just personal opinion

 

Why are people assuming others are a free transfer?

 

The press can only find out if somebody leaks it though. If nobody leaks it then they’ll be none the wiser

See i cant agree with this, theres a massive difference between 150k a week out there and 50k a week with us, its not 3x as much its more like 7 and I get it. It's ludicrous money.
