In all honesty, Franny was ****, but he was the ultimate 100% player. Think Shane Long in defence. His destruction of John Fashanu is a belter too (look it up if you haven’t seen it!)

Yeah, I can't really be arsed to think about Lallana for any length of time. I don't hate him, but he's nowhere near a legend or any of that stuff.

My top 5 will be different to most I’d imagine and reflects age etc as I don’t remember MLT really don’t really have much memories of the 90s football wise

 

I have Beattie, Lallana and Morgan as my top 3 (but I find it too difficult to put them in order). With Rickie and Shane in 4th and 5th.

Pahars just misses out on my top five.

Hey, people were questioning what was said. That's what it was. Like others, I don't really care one way or the other about Lallana. Somehow he never captured my imagination.

 

Tom Parker (born in Woolston) and Ted Drake left to play for the great Arsenal team of the 1930s and England.

 

Danny Wallace and Steve Moran are somewhere on that list for me. MLT definitely (although he has had a few moments of being struck off due to his off field madness). SRL also has to be there. Lalllana for me hovers about the top 10, but his twatness keeps him outside. Controversial, but I feel the same for Fonte but less so. Maya & Benali are also there or thereabouts for me. Oh and Long. Maybe I'll do a top 5 by era!
