I really never expected us to beat this German side, so amazing to see. The defending and playing the clock down at the end was played superbly.
wishful thinking i'm afraid unless we have the balls to appoint someone who while wanting to win wants to actually play attractive football as much as possible
comes over really well and has the brains to do ajob he likes instead of being a target for our ****ing media
I think the problem with the full England team is by the time the players are in their mid twenties they are coached to play a certain way for their clubs and and their is no consistency in tactics throughout the top two tiers
to some extent that applies even at this level but possibly not so ingrained plus at this level the manager has a bit more leeway to pick the team /squad he wants without much media scrutiny
The difference I saw tonight is these kids don't **** around in their own box. Stick your foot under the ****ing thing.
At least half a dozen if not a couple more should be promoted to the full squad to replace the over the hill players just making up the numbers
We rely too much on the past, but that past never won **** all either, so yeah I agree with you, to achieve you have to be brave to make unpopular decisions and give the kids a chance. Something Fosse has banged on about a few times, to which I do agree, just don't tell him I said this lol
How come the under 21's have a load of 22 year olds playing for them? Elliot Quanah Cresswell Livramento Anderson McAtee Stansfield Morton Rowe Egan-Riley And most of the rest are 21 not under...
Players have to be born from 2002. Presumably so those who can play in qualifying can play in the tournament.
