The midfield has been weak, even for L1, with Berry unable to play more than an hour, and now a year older. NJ knows this and the signs are that he is getting some backing from the owners to tackle this. It was our defence that got us promoted.

Three weeks until pre season camp in Slovenia. I guess Jones will have wanted to do the majority of recruitment by then. Hopefully there will be movement soon

This season I imagine will be more difficult recruitment wise.
1 We were an attraction at League 1 level to League 1 carthorses
2 Championship now means Championship level wages
3 Competing against many other clubs who are more attractive
I think I am right in saying that you cannot sign a player until the 1st July, unless they are already out of contract.
