There’s a bit more in the translation of the tweet in Polish:

@FabrizioRomano : Negotiations are ongoing between Nice and Sunderland regarding the transfer of Marcin Bułka. AC Milan had previously shown interest in the goalkeeper, but the topic fell through when it turned out that Mike Maignan would not leave for Chelsea. Sunderland hope that Bułka will agree to join their ambitious project, which they want to implement in the Premier League. I think there is a real chance of finalizing this transfer in the coming days.

Two sunderland related stories.

Just a case of negotiating the right fee for Bulka I reckon

Also seems like we really want Angelino

I think it's important to differentiate though. I'd argue that Romano isn't really a journalist anymore as he's not an independent reporter. He's now part of the transfer story himself and is used as such by clubs.

I have no doubt that he gets a lot of information and it will be mostly very accurate. I'm also sure that he puts out a side to the story that one party wants you to see as well.
True, but thanks to social media sports journalists barely resemble their pre-90s counterparts.

Fab sometimes gets called a content aggregator as he brings together and tweets facts before anyone else.

On a medium absolutely chocka with rage bait, lies, stunts, engagement farming and other slop, tweeting the truth is a huge advantage.

if them 3 all goes through and add Le Fee
figure that's potential between 70-80m on them alone

that's with a rw cm and ch aswell still to do alone

must be some money in the pot <cool>

I have a feeling ‘we ain’t seen nothing yet’.

It seems like there’s been a definite trigger to all this and KLD isn’t wasting time having a year struggling followed by another Championship campaign and all the disruption that causes.

The common consensus is that we’re the poorest side, will struggle, add a few hopefuls and bravely and go down …

…. I don’t think that’s such a foregone conclusion tbh.

This could get really interesting.
