A few years old (obviously) but here's Bulka speaking when he signed for PSG from Chelsea.

Good english as you'd expect from someone who spent a few years here.

Interesting he talks about how he used to be an outfield player. I guess that means he should be good with ball at feet.

Absolute bonus that he is homegrown too.

As harsh as it is on Patto, imo this was likely going to be his last season with us regardless unless he made massive improvements over the season. If we stayed up, you'd think it would be an area we would try and upgrade, especially if he didnt stand out. If we go back down, youd think he'd either want to leave or Matty Young would be knocking on the door to step into the team.

Bulka being available was probably too good for us not to act now. Hope this deal gets done, sounds like he ticks a lot of boxes.

yeah me too. Unless a european qualified club want him as a number 2 and are willing to offer us £10m for him. We might be willing to accept that as it will allow us to invest elsewhere, and sign a cheaper backup keeper

Random twitter account I believe you with my whole heart

EXCLU: Imminent agreement between OGC Nice and Sunderland for the transfer of Marcin Bulka! A deal facilitated, in particular,by the good relationship between Franck Haise and Régis Le Bris #MercatoOGCN#OGCNice[HASHTAG]#Nice[/HASHTAG][HASHTAG]#Sunderland[/HASHTAG]

I'd love to believe it but can't get on board with the idea that RLB has facilitated the negotiations when we have Ghisolfi, Speakman and Harvey who do that

that and the 228 followers!

Linked here earlier this month. Never thought it would happen

Didn’t want him for the price anyway

Sounds like the lad fancies the Saudi or Spain move rather than the Premier League. Not seen much of him myself but from the clips he doesn't look great defensively and we will need to address that in whoever we bring in.
I like Cirkin but seeing how ruthless we seem to be with the efforts to bring in the Polish lad for Patto's position I'd not be surprised if we had someone in mind to do the same at LB.
