The nice thing about Elliott is the versatility. Assuming we play the same way next season he could be used as the 7, the 8 or the 10. And he’d make a good impact in any of them.
Burnley also signing Loum Tchaouna who’s just come on for France - number 11. Right winger who cuts inside. I guess to compete with Edwards. Profile seems to match what we’d want tho
He's out of our range anyway so it's a bit irrelevant but I think that's the risk with a player like Elliott. He's a talented lad but what he needs at this stage in his career is consistency. Starting every week in the same position and knowing what his job is. Fulham is the perfect move for him in so many ways, but I thought he wasn't liked down there.
I think we need a lot of new players and shift a good few but I think I'd be slightly worried if we had 7 new players in the starting 11 for the first game
Agree although to play devil’s advocate, it would also be really exciting. More likely 3-4 new starters with a few subs.
Depends on the quality of player who come in. If it’s more players similar to Lauriente and Bulka it’ll be strong. Obviously if they gel etc. But it’s the premier league and just like we did when we went up to the championship we have to strengthen the XI quite considerably but this time the ones who drop out are young enough and have enough potential to rotate and play a part
Maybe not. Mind, the games will mostly be played in mad, broiling heat under scorching son. It won't suit us at all and certainly not the type of high energy game he says he'd like us to play.
Yep if they get Ndoye aswell they'll have to sell an attacker. Raspadori is far to random a link to not have some truth in it. That bloke who tweeted it is supposed to be **** hot on their stuff. Certainly one to watch.
Interesting that Dack singles out Neil during his time here 23:20 Nothing against Dack, had two bad ACLs and happy to see him able to play a bit.
