Unprovoked other than funding various groups to attack Israel and making their intention to obliterate Israel clear numerous times. There’s a countdown clock in Palestine Square, Tehran. The good guys were enriching uranium for some reason that must have been positive.

Israel wants to remain the only regional nuclear power - that's the only reason he goaded the Anericans into this again. Even Gabbard had to change her story 180° to fit the narrative put forward by Netanyahu after Trump fell for it and called her out.

Israel isn't even a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as it doesn't want anyone checking what they are doing, unlike Iran who are members and subject to constant monitoring

Netanyahu will be pissed that Hegseth just said that the Americans don't want regime change, he just wants to keep bombing indiscriminately. He'll start again in south Lebanon and Syria again next week under some other pretext

It would be much easier if Israel just rolled over and died. All these wars against invisible enemies with invisible bombs and invisible declarations to wipe it off the map.

Not at all. No-one can defend those sort of declarations and yes action needed to be taken. Israel has the right to act and respond, no-one objects to that

However I don't consider killing 55,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children a justified response. It has to stop or is it the plan to just kill every single Palestinian?

Now Trump has 'obliterated' the Iranian nuclear threat, will Netanyahu will stop bombing Tehran? Of course he won't

Netanyahu is basically saying Peace can only be achieved by killing anyone Israel considers its enemy.

Putting aside your hatred of Trump and Israel, what's your view on Iran getting their nuclear weapons capability up and running? Would you have been happy with them having that capability, knowing full well that for at least the last two decades they have shared their technical data on WMDs with non-state actors including Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis, who they supplied mid-range ballistic missiles to so they could bomb Saudi, UAE and other GCC nations. Would you feel any safer when Iran have a nuclear capabilty, knowing that their network of proxies had already managed to smuggle multitudes of conventional weapons across countless borders?

In the circumstances taking into account Hamas’ underground infrastructure, penchant for civilian buildings and putting those civilians in the middle I’d say 55000 over 20 months is pretty good going. It’d be a hell of a lot more than 55000 if they switched weaponry.

Iran and its proxies don’t respond well when given an inch. They’ll lash out a bit over the next few days but they know the game is up.

But Trump, no idea. Your guess is as good as mine. I doubt he has a plan for what he’ll be doing on this in a week let alone a year.

As to nuclear capabilities, whatever happened to the theory of MAD - mutually assured destruction? Why shouldn't Iran, or anyone other nation be allowed to have that security against nuclear attack? If Iran has to be prevented from procuring nuclear weapons, shouldn't Israel be required to give up its own?

MAD only works if both sides are afraid of dying....if one side relishes death in the insane belief that they get to spend eternity with 40 virgins sucking their cocks, it's not much of a deterent.
