Air con? Posh ****.

Lol...portable aircon unit, you wouldn't survive in my house without it.

You make up in winter for what you save in electric, but in the summer it costs you more than the average household. That's why it's all well and good insulating every home, but as we get more and more summers like this it causes a problem.

It was actually one of the problems during covid when they were telling people to stay home, if you have a newly insulated property, south facing without aircon, you aint half going to suffer, especially the elderly.

Just got a signal, finished, today was 30.5 miles, cracked it in 9 hrs 45 minutes, well happy with that, bastards put a sting in the tail from mile 3 to mile 1 from home, 2 real steep climbs up to the memorial. Mate came through, 4 pints waiting for us in the square as we finished.

And we're there, a big thank you to all who donated, I hope I managed to thank you by pm if not apologies and thank you.

Not that we'd be unhappy to see it smashed:emoticon-0105-wink:

Well done mate, I'm pleased your target was achieved for all the hard work you put in to it.

Had the 3 and had to leave, I really could have stayed for the session, my mate who lives there and got them in for us did, said he felt a bit dodgy this morning but he had been there since 3pm waiting for us, even though we told him it wouldn't be until around 7
