I mean only half of Arsenal's first 4 games are against teans that finished in the top half last year. We play 3 teams from the top half and a promoted side - they also play a promoted side.

Title is not won in the first 4.
Tbh the title was won in the first 13 last year. Sustained in the next 13 and then consolidated over the next 7 or so before a holiday was taken for the final 5.
Hopefully we can iron out some issues from last year and be more comfortable and reliable in defence.
Honest to God last season could have been a 100 point title.win if we were more assured at the back.
In my.mind going forward Frimpong and kerkez would be a huge upgrade over Robertson and benedict Arnold.
Defensively you cannot be worse than those two were.
Robertson was sent off v Fulham through panic. He was caught behind the line playing eveyone on and never blocked a cross.
Trent wouldn't bother his arse make a block or track back etc.

In the end we have a big rest,followed by a full preseason and it should not matter who we play, if we are aiming for above 90 points.

I went back to school to do a GCSE in maths last year. Good job - I needed it working that out! Bottom line, for all their whining, when you combine home fixtures and European games then Arsenal have it easy compared to us (especially), Newcastle and City. Figures.

I am a little surprised they have not attempted to cash in on this but without a number they can't start selling shirts.
However what might make sense is they are holding it until the Adidas deal formally kicks in. This is August 1st.

Standard chartered were signed back up to run until 2027. So that summer.
If 2025/26 goes well I'd see a deal being announced next summer for more cash
