Oh Rover, I was sorting through junk and found a Boarders v Hull City Staff programme last week. There's a picture in it of the boarders celebrating a promotion, you, Meanie, Danny, et al, your mop top dominates.

The Kempton Shield, we started when Fer Ark was closing, Adam Pearson let us play at Fer Ark as one of the last games played there.
It was a good laugh even though we got hammered Couple ex players at a game, they ran rings round us. As it says, the rest was City staff who played.
Who was that City player who was a member of the coaching staff, he eventually went to Aussie a few years ago? I hadn't seen him for years and then we spotted each other in Club Wembley seats, he came over and we had a good chat about the Kempton Shield games. He liked the part how we went into pub together after the game for a few drinks.
Happy memories, even happier if I could remember his name. My memory is getting worse.
