Liverpool Eco is reporting that Newcastle will not allow Alexander Isak to leave for less than £92m . I am not sure if Liverpool are ready to that much.
Sell Nunez for around £50-60m and I'm sure we could get to 92. Probably wouldn't be spending much the following 3 windows though
Can Isak play CB? Isak and Wirtz in one summer? I don't believe it. Plus we will have to spend big in a future summer whenever VVD starts to decline... Could be one year, two, or five... Unknown but we'll be hard pressed to replace him cheaply. I guess we don't have to worry so much about replacing Salah if Isak and Wirtz did come as, although neither of them play Salah's position... That would be top-tier forwards lines up. It'll be great that for at least one season all three could line up together. ... But all that nonsense aside, I have no expectations we will get Isak.
Not sure we should be selling, but I think Slot doesn't really rates him, so probably wouldn't get the game time needed to progress Running low on HG players if he and Elliot both leave
Rumours of a £30m deal. I like Quansah, I think he has a big future, but I think £30m for him would be a good deal tbh, especially since Slot doesn't seem to rate him. Just need to make sure we include buy back and sell on clauses in the deal
Nunez to Napoli heating up now as well. Seems like that’s probably going to happen Done Kelleher - £15m Taa - £10m Almost done Quansah £30m Nunez £50m Potential Robbo/Tsimikas £5m-£10m Elliott - £40m Chiesa - £10m £25m brought in. Looks like another £80odd mil for 2 squad players plus another 50/60m for 3 more squad players. Few would like to keep but for players that Slot didn’t fancy, that’s not bad going. Important to make money on squad players, just look at United struggle to sell their fringe players. Thats the benefit of being successful. City done it throughout years, United used to do it. Mid table clubs want your squad players when you’re winning which makes it easier to reinvest and improve.
