They've been talking about a stripped down (less expensive) version of it for a while. Rumours about it last time we went down too.

Hopefully we get at least next season.

Could they bring it in just in the Championship or would it have to be the whole football league?

They should bring it it to all levels of football, based on the recordings taken by fans' phones. The ref would have to stop the match, go along the lines of people with phones stood at each side, checking the various angles, to see if a player was offside or not, even if there were no linesmen to run the line. That should speed things up, at all levels.

And there would never be another argument about anything that happened during a football match, ever again.

Anyone else thinking of going to the Eastleigh match? Site originally said details be announced this week but now saying 'in due course'.
 
Still no announcement on assistant manager etc? Would imagine players will be reporting back either next week or week after.
