I’m in Italy and just signing on. I think I read it was free worldwide, but you can always use a VPN, the travellers friend !!

Update. I used my VPN and got a notice to turn it off and try again.
I did that, and it signed me up immediately and I’m ready to go.
Looks to be free worldwide then.

In Rome for another week, my wife’s favourite. We’ve been coming to Italy for 40 years, went to University here and have a daughter- in-law from Umbria. After that, Uzes in Provence, Nice, Paris and Copenhagen. Then London for a week and 2 weeks in West Sussex.
    Life’s tough for us retirees!!

Watched the game against LA, another bore fest, slow, dreary football again. looked like the players would rather be on a beach in the Greek islands than an empty stadium in Atlanta

Its pretty much an expensive pre season tournament for which we will earn a lot of money.
But it does beg the question, when do the players get a rest? The season ended and they went straight into International games, then literally a few days later they are in another tournament which lasts the best part of a month!
Will the players get any break at all this season? If not we are going to see a lot of tired players when the new season starts.

This sure looks one tournament too far by FIFA. Lots of players are very pissed off about having to play and the injuries from overplaying will be interesting.
It also looks like a really dud idea to hold it in the USA and may well backfire spectacularly on Infantino, who has been sucking up to Trump for the past 6 months. FIFA couldn’t get a buyer for the broadcast right until the last minute, the tickets are selling like a cold bucket of pigs sick, and it might empty a few million out of FIFAs’ ill gotten warchest.
Bad idea, wrong country, wrong time, wrong ticket prices and maybe too many wrong teams playing, including ours.

We got to see Jeremy Gittens play a cameo for Dortmund the other day and if the 25 or so minuites are anything to go by we need to sign him on now. The way he took people on and glided past them was a delight to watch bearing in mind this was a top quality Brazillian defence he was up against, Chuckwemeka also looked good for the short period he was on for.

Missed that game. We could do with Gittens who sounds like he has lots to offer. With Sancho gone and Mudryk out for some time, both Neto and Madueke look a bit hit or miss to me.
I don’t think Chukwemenka ever got a decent go from Maresca, and hope he does well.
Still hoping we get our midfield working properly with some of the new players we are getting, such a lack of cohesion and penetration. Far from seeing Enzo as the answer, I think he’s a big part of the problem.

Andrey Santos should be given a chance next season in midfield.
He looked excellent for Strasbourg last season on loan and got himself into the Brazil squad to boot, so he needs to be given a crack imo.
Between him and Estevao I think we have two very good players ready to test themselves in the PL.
We need Gittens, Maignan and either Branthwaite or Guehi. If we sign those players, we are in for a good season imo.
