Rumour has it that we could be after Louis Oppie from a German Third league side who have gained promotion to German Second tier. A left back by trade. We already have two left backs so why chase somebody with an indifferent pedigre. Perhaps his assists stats are his selling point?

According to Transfermarkt he's a LB who can also play as a CB (he's over 6') or DM, so that might be the interest, if there is any. Left footed CBs are hard to come by and another option at DM would also be useful. Might be seen as a kind of replacement for both Doyle and Sørensen at a stretch.

Norwich City have agreed a deal with Fleetwood Town to sign highly-rated 16 year old attacking midfielder Reece Wilkes according to the PinkUn

We are close to signing RCB by the name of Jakov Medic from Ajax. Just a few details to finalise. Fee I have seen is €3m.I

Ooh, Matron, call the Medic, Darling.

Croatian Jakov Medic from Ajax is apparently a target. A fee of around £2.5m is expected. He’s a 26year old, 6’4, right footed CB.

Hes got an appropriate surname for joining us.

This was posted in the PinkUn newsletter this morning appearing to poor cold water on this rumour.
“Louis Oppie is a player Norwich City have been linked with. The Armenia Bielefeld left back is not believed to be an active target at present. Oppie had an excellent season in Bundesliga.2, and is reportedly the subject of firm interest from Union Berlin.”

With these possibly new CBs, what will happen to Duffy and Cordoba?
I’d expect Duffy to go, there has been rumour of interest from the MLS. Cordoba id expect to stick around, will be the LCB option if we play 3 CBs. McConville can back up the right hand side. It’s Hills I’m worried about, I can’t see us keeping 6 CB options even if we are to play 3 at the back

Having cleared the goalkeeper position Knapper has now replaced 2 out of 3 vacancies as we await a new number 1 keeper.

In addition, having signed Harry darling, we are said to have reached a deal with Ajax for Jakob Medic:

"Highly-respected Dutch reporter Mike Verweij, writing in De Telegraaf, reports that Norwich have reached an agreement with Eredivisie powerhouses Ajax. Norwich will pay slightly more than £2 million, rising to £2.5 million, for a Croatian centre-back who played Bundesliga football last season at VFL Bochum."

Have Long, Reyes and Barden left the club?
No as you know. Who will want Long and if I was him I would stubbornly refuse to move and just see out his contract as he is entitled to do. I am sure the other 2 will make sure that any loan will be in their long term interests and not the Clubs. 3 new keepers in, another to come and 3 more on the books - individual opinion as to whether that is sorting out the position.
