Ok not logical.
But before he's appointed or a ball is kicked I'm not liking the look of Struber.
He looks menacing, not a good trait in my book.....and his record is nothing.
And he's ex Barnsley <steam>

Whereas Hogg knows the set up, players (who responded brilliantly last Autumn) and in my opinion deserves this opportunity.
Bloody Tinnion.

Sacked everywhere he has been then took years out and sold insurance.
What a joke we have become-better managers available and we go for another cheap option.

To be fair, most managers are sacked multiple times in their careers, so I’m not holding that against him. Like most, I’m thoroughly underwhelmed by this appointment, as I have been with others, but they did ok, (in fact the one that I did excited about was the most underwhelming) so who knows, let’s give him a chance.

I agree. I’ll support him (as I have ALL our managers) but I’ll be seriously underwhelmed if he’s chosen.
Having said that, I’d not be surprised. It’s a typical SL appointment.

In the brilliant Gerry Gow book I read, he also used to smoke like a train back in the good old days when men were men !
wore trousers hobnail boots and Y fronts ... no sign of lip gloss lacy underwear or ................. needing to sit down to peeeeeeeeeeee

It looks certain that we have made our choice not to hire the supporters favorite potential. I can't say the process has given me hope that we will ever improve or was it designed to get Red Bull as a purchasing option?

I do wonder if there is a spanner in the works and something has changed.I wonder if a new name has come forward or Edward’s may be interested after speaking with Boro.

Has something, or someone, gone missing in the hunt for our new manager? I thought it was certain to be announced today but the lines of communication have gone silent, although that's a regular thing anyway, but has it gone tots up? Perhaps second thoughts have come into play but nevertheless it all seems weird, or is it just the way we usually do our business? Let's hope all the candidates haven't done a runner because there are a lot of good vacancies to fill right now and still some good potential out there for the right person. Will it all end in tears? :emoticon-0106-cryin

It's beginning to look a lot like Bristol City are back in their usual apathetic posture as a lot of teams are already making moves in both the managerial and player departments whereas we have done nothing other than get a player in from Plymouth who most have never heard of to date. Why do we continue to look like total plonkers when it comes down to getting things right because we may have to go around twice or thrice to find a manager when I suspect that with a little more class, and less crass, we could have got the right guy at the first bite with extra commitment and possibly cash. Does anyone think that Andrews turned us down based on his lack of belief in getting the necessary support from on high to get the job done? It's all starting to look messy (not Messi) but that's a lifetime trait of BCFC and let's see where the mayhem takes us, and with whom?

It’s always the same, every single season
I have no faith in the Lansdowns and even less in Tinnion
