Unbelievable…Not again….another year of hell incoming I imagine. So, Ouse fault this time? No laughing matter, I’ll get m’coat. Latest report below from Nat Highways Yorks;

❗Emergency lane closures - M62 Ouse Bridge - damaged bridge joint identified ❗

⚠️Following advice from a specialist inspector we have had to put in place emergency lane 1 and lane 2 closures on the M62 westbound between junctions 37 and 36, Ouse Bridge. ⚠️

Although the damaged joint is in lane 1 we have been advised to also close lane 2 for safety.

❗ This will inevitably lead to substantial delays. Please consider alternative routes for your journey. ❗

These lane closures will be in place whilst further inspections are carried out and a repair made. We will keep you updated.

Incompetence at its finest.

How are we so bad at everything now in this country ?
Simple... go and get some Japanese engineers and workmen on a short term contract .. sorted... instead of fat ****ers with arses hanging out resting on shovels and saying what a hard days work theyve had...

About time the MPS for the area demanded an apology from the Minister for Transport and immediate funded action with 24 hour working...

** Cone contractors will be happy....

Everything is done as cheap as it can get
Oh I don’t think it’s cheap as can be I think there is nobody with any real skill in assessing quality any more , They’ve all retired with years of knowledge and no replacements - like the police .
It’s ok tell people you have ISOs etc but it only produces records to prove consistency not quality .

What ****s me right off is when you go past miles and miles of roadworks on the motorway with no one working at all. After spending hours in a variable speed limit you see a sign that says ‘ We are working nights ‘ This country drives me mental now. Can’t we do anything right.

There's more money in not doing it right then go back for a second bite .
