Someone in the replies has asked him were he got that info from, and he said it’s from the Daily Mail.
Greenwood isn't joining us, nowhere near good enough I wouldn't even want him if we were in the championship, I think he's a bang average championship player and not sure i see that much upside now
I thought so, given the team he played for. Popped up in a lot of the creativity lists for last season. Was one of the top ‘make **** happen’ players in the data thread just over the weekend. Not saying he’s nailed on to be great but I think he’s better than many on here think. Probably more of a champ signing though.
If we are shopping in the Championship (I'd disagree with it but life goes on), i'd take Max Bird. Can play all 3 of our midfield positions but i'd pencil him in for our hybrid 8/10 role. Was on my lists for if we didn't get promoted. Would look at his teammate Jason Knight as well for the 6 or 8 positions. Not sure they are good enough but they are standout Championship players.
I think Shea Charles would be worth a look at. Ben Nelson from Leicester did well at Oxford, on loan CB, linked with Chelsea earlier in the summer. Only if we signed other quality in those positions though.
Yeah which is why I think shopping in the Championship is pointless unless they are special talents. Adding Championship players to Championship players and expecting them to survive is backwards thinking, in my opinion.
I definitely agree, don’t think we’ll be looking at players from that level. Excited to see who they’re targeting from abroad
He's decent on the ball and makes some chances, I just don't think he's very good to have in your team - reckless in challenges, no really physical strengths whether that be speed or physicality and doesn't really have a position. I wouldn't want him but can appreciate he looks good in the odd game.
