Know him as a player surely? Played for rangers Arsenal and Barca. 100 caps for Netherlands? Coaching career Was manager at feyenoord and won them the league before slot did it. Was assistant for few years before taking over. Did ok at Rangers as manager replacing Gerrard but couldn’t compete with Celtic in the league and most recently did 6 month at Besiktas but didn’t go well - signed Ox on a freebie! Guess it is a bit of a step back but maybe advantage for us as has had those experiences - maybe similar to lijdners going to city. Trust slot knows him and believes can do decent job

We 100% need a striker. But yeah, this is looking very good. Szoboszlai can cover macallister and wirtz better than jones ever could. Macallister can cover gravenberch better than endo, although neither are quick. Diaz and gakpo can fight on the left. Robertson can come on as can Bradley. I'd love to see us loan quansah out to prem team rather than sell here. He just needs games. A striker and we have to be competitive in multiple competitions Exciting.
