WE ARE delighted to announce the launch of the club’s brand-new Supporter Advisory Board (SAB).
The club have been operating for many seasons with the Supporters' Consultation Committee, but in order to align with the current evolution of fan engagement in football, we have made the decision to re-launch the way it formally consults with supporters.

Fan engagement and supporter consultation will be prominent within the Football Governance Bill and with the Independent Football Regulator. So, in order to take on best practice and match expectations, the club are keen to rebrand and relaunch our formal consultation.

The club have worked in collaboration with the Football Supporters' Association (FSA) during this process, and their guidance and recommendations have been vital in ensuring that the QPR SAB can perform to represent the fanbase in the best possible way. The club are passionate about building on the fantastic work that has been done within the Supporters' Consultation Committee in its current format, and want to strive to become stronger in the field of supporter consultation.

The QPR SAB will be made up of supporter group representatives and elected individuals, and here is your chance to be a part the advisory board. We’re looking to hear from the voices of supporters across the fanbase who are season ticket holders, or members, are over the age of 18, and would encourage applications from anyone who feels they would like to be part of the QPR SAB and have a positive contribution to the club. Applications will be sent to the FSA as a part of the application process, with the organisation being part of the application and interview process.

Jane Hughes, EFL networking manager at the FSA, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with staff and fans to develop and strengthen fan engagement at QPR. The structure, transparency and democracy built into the process and the unseen hard work of Chloe Tong, your supporter relations manager, exemplifies the commitment of everyone at QPR to provide a framework for fans to speak to the club and, just as importantly, the club to speak to the fans.”

Applications are now open for the opportunity to become one of five elected individuals on the QPR SAB, as well as the opportunity to represent a supporter group. The closing date is Monday 30th June at midday. A shortlist will then be formed, with successful shortlisted applicants contacted to continue the process.

If supporters have any questions, our supporter services team can be contacted via [email protected].

Do we think this is a tick box exercise or will the input from supporters actually make any difference?

The club are obliged to do it. New EFL rule. Doubt it’ll have much impact but I don’t know anything about the rule beyond there being a rule so maybe they have some sort of sway. Probably not.

Anyway I’m formally announcing I’ll be running Kiwi’s campaign. I hope we can count on all your votes.

I'm putting myself up for one of the positions, along with FREE Aussie beer to all my supporters.
Kiwi has volunteered to be my running mate and cover all marketing costs.

I plan on making myself available to the fans more often then the current board and am i'm
currently finalising free flights contract with Aeroflot Airways, who have just let me have the aircraft painted up ................ what do you think!

Make no mistake ladies & gentlemen, l'm serious-arse!

Don’t invite the fox into the hen house. He’ll stab you in the back. Metaphorically mainly.

Excellent, we need a sound spokes person
( with a flask of gin under arm ) …. on board to advise us weathered fans of what’s happening. I’m sure everyone will appreciate your efforts.

As you know I applied for the supporters advisory board and even though " I am one of the most passionate supporters of the club" I didn't even make the shortlist.

Que sera sera...as the well known football chant goes.

Okay ..so who ratted on me and told them I was only after the gin and tonics
