    The Dutch and Portuguese leagues aren’t comparable to the Moroccan one. We payed millions for Pandur and Belloumi. This kid will cost six figures at most and will probably go straight into the under-21s.

    Just played in the u20 AFCON final

    I think it’s good we are doing this. North Africans typically don’t struggle with the physicality of the top European leagues despite sometimes not being “built” for it

    If we somehow manage to end up with Emreli, Laalaoui and Kilicsoy, that looks like a very good start. With the returning wingers, that would realistically only leave us needing to find a left back (although may need others depending on outgoings)

    Didn't he come from the portugese league? A league regarded as a higher standard than the championship. I dont think that is a good example.

    He did play a season in Portugal, the Portuguese club having brought him in from Algeria, you think we should only sign players another club has discovered first?

    People often talk about what might have been, had we signed Mo Salah for £2m under Bruce, he was at Al-Mokawaloon at the time.

    Are you suggesting he is the next mo salah now?

    We are all so desperate to be proven wrong about acun, or ignore the evidence in front of us (that he is way too involved in player procurement)...that we all choose to ignore it.

    Or are now trying to find ways in which this player is going to awesome.

    I edge my bets to him being another flop. I hope I am wrong.

    I have absolutely no idea if he's the next Mo Salah or not, but if we sign him, I'm happy to wait to find out, rather than writing him off before he's kicked a ball for us.
