Sharp is the nuts. Shame we didnt break the bank for him. Cox or Austin would have been great additions last season as well.
I bet theres a lot of managers kicking themselves for not taking a gamble on Lambert when he was banging them in consistently for Bristol Rovers. He has handled the step up very well & even though your not looking for him constantly which you seemed to do under Pardew he is still banging in the goals and bringing in people around him. I have said before & will say it again, its well worth the gamble on lower league talent as opposed to prem players stepping down so to speak.
Pace is definetly something we lack all over (especially in the striker department) and its also true to say that we have money available, however Maynard will be too pricey and our Chairman will not be taken for a ride on price or wages. Didnt Leicester have an offer of £5m turned down by BC?
With only Lambert fit (and he just came back from a knock), Connolly and Barnard injured for the forseeable future we are in desperate need for striking options. I think we will go in for Sharp and possibly a young pacey forward too. Another winger wouldnt go a miss either.

Leicester haven't any money, all the money their spend is loans. I'd love sharp and phillips here speed and a goalscorer.

It is definitely a bit iffy at present, there's no doubt. But the trouble with being in the middle of a blip is whether it is that you were over-performing before or whether we'll come good again. Never know, it might be next week. I don't actually it will be, but I'm confident Adkins will work it out in time. Besides, it's getting closer to the January sales, and Father Cortese has mighty deep pockets, should Adkins decide it's necessary.
Two for certain someone that can pop em in as regularly as Lambert and an out and out winger....we are missing Chamberlain badly.

We need a proper left winger, we lost Gradel begining of the season, but have Pugh on loan, who is not bad, but rely on one of our starlets Aiden White (LB) overlapping him. We need a big, quick centre back, and a right back

We can't keep playing morgan on the wing doesn't work. As you and me have said we need a winger.
