The jokes write themselves if Spurs appointed him.

Whilst coaching appointments probably join selling unwanted squad members as 'things Paratici doesn't do too well', the appointments of Nuno, then Conte, came after Daniel had ****ed off most of the decent possibilities and, in Conte's case, mid-season.

Now that the bloke knows that Daniel's full of hot air, with little intention of backing it up with real, hard cash, he should make a better fist of it. Anyway, he'll have to really **** it up, big time, to get close to Daniel's record...so I'm not seeing too many problems.

After Ange, can it truly get any worse?

Yes. I'm not loving any of the suggested options.
Some of them are decent managers, but unsuited to our squad.
Some are just nowhere near good enough.

    Where there's a Levy, there's a way.

If left to his own devices, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he thinks appointing someone like Southgate would be a marvelous idea.

Sounds like the ideal replacement for Arteta to me...

I thought that our confirmed pre-season games were pretty terrible before yesterday.
I still disagree with the concept of a friendly against Arsenal, but now it's got a different spin.
Link up with Kane in Munich and take the piss out of the filth in Hong Kong! <laugh>

UEFA have set the date and venue for the 2025 Super Cup.
Spurs will face the winners of the Champions League in Udine on August 13th.
Udinese's Stadio Friuli will host the match. It has a capacity of 25,144. Hull have a larger ground.

It does have to be said UEFA have a very odd approach for the Super Cup, as they often use grounds with similar capacities to Loftus Road or the New Den for 4-5 years, and then suddenly jump to something the size of Anfield for one year

1998-2012: Stade Louis II, Monaco - 16,000 capacity
    2013: Eden Arena, Prague - 19,000 capacity
2014: Cardiff City Stadium, obviously in Newport - 33,000 capacity
2015: Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, Tbilisi - 54,000 capacity
    2016: Lerkendel Stadion, Trondheim - 21,000 capacity
2017: Philip II Arena, Skopje - 33,000 capacity
    2018: Lillekula Stadium, Tallinn - 14,000 capacity
2019: Vodafone Park, Istanbul - 42,000 capacity (so 63,000 for the average Besiktas match then...)
2020: Puskas Arena, Budapest - 67,000 capacity...but only let 16,000 in due to Lockdown and all that
    2021: Windsor Park, Belfast - 18,000 capacity
    2022: Olympic Stadium, Helsinki - 36,000 capacity
    2023: Karaiskakis Stadium, Piraeus - 33,000 capacity
    2024: Stadion Narodowy, Warsaw - 56,000 capacity

Skillfully avoids any mention of our dismal league campaign.

I can imagine Daniel drafted two totally different messages, much like Boris Johnson ahead of the Brexit referendum announcement.

He really has got himself a get out of jail free card.

I think he means that here

I'm quite happy with the tone of it, to be honest.
Focuses on the good things, thanks the manager, players, staff and fans and ignores finances.
He still got booed when his face flashed up during the lap of honour, though! <laugh>

Looks like Ryan Mason is on the brink of being appointed WBA manager.

Decent career move for him, I think it's very much time he flew the nest.

Good luck to him, if he takes it. Could become a very useful loan destination, too.

Not bought a Spurs shirt for a long time and the new one is probably the worst home kit I’ve seen for Spurs but the launch video for it has one amusing moment <laugh> IMG_1421.jpeg

Romero didn't find it particularly difficult this season, either.

Arijit Singh is playing the stadium on September 5th and tickets went on sale today.
He's the most followed artist on Spotify, apparently.
This will make him the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium.
He's a Man Utd supporter, so I hope they give him a chance to see the Europa League trophy.
