Let's call a spade a spade. He wasn't any good. Yes he had pace and a bit of skill but the footballing brain of a tub of margarine and I also saw him literally running into the training ground late for training a couple of times myself. Ta ra jewi
Always really liked him, don't see him as a replacement for Jobe though. Can play a few positions and technically good, I wouldn't want him on loan tho - would rather a perm deal I'd see him as a squad player only at PL level at the minute
I feel a bit sorry for him, no doubt he has some talent and we saw it in flashes under Mowbray, I feel like his downfall will be his inability to adapt and, this might sound mean, but he doesn't strike me as a thinker, rather than working to adapt and overcome problems, I imagine he will feel victimised when things don't go his way. I imagine he'll make an MLS stop (or equivalent) before heading back to his home country where he'll do okay.
I don't get the Jewi hype. Always looked raw and frankly a bit ****. Even the two spins and cross for Rigg's header was pretty immature play and he ****ed up the second spin and I'm pretty sure the cross was hit and hope. He's gone and will amount to nothing.
I reckon this would be a player we'd be interested in if we were in the championship As I said I like him but he's def not a top target fir us in the PL
This feels strange a player who can improve but in worrying if this is someone who was on the championship list
I think he's even less likely to offer something seeing his off the ball work is so poor and we're going to have even less of the ball.
