Cool bro. Some right ****wits on Twitter since the incident, it's clear there are **** loads of accounts trying to cause trouble for the asian community. I think it was a sensible move by the police to give a clear description of the person arrested, because it bats all the false **** away.

Since the police released his age and skin colour, the dickheads have moved onto it being a disgruntled Everton or Man Uts supporter, why are some folk always looking for something to blame without knowing any of the facts.
We can all draw our own conclusions but best keeping them to ourselves.

Wise words...

They had to do it, given recent events in Europe ...

What worries me though Fosse, people see this **** and probably don't challenge what they see, oh it looks the same car, in a crowd, driver enraged, it must be genuine. No not on Twitter, it's more likely ****ing fake or misleading, question everything about what you see. Even eyewitnesses, some of the contrasts of what I've heard, I just think with witnesses, what you saw was a momentary snap shot in time, the cops need to piece those snap shots all together and find out what's relevant and what's not but could form part of a bigger picture.

Think you may find their were a few more when they belonged here.
Gessa is sound by the way so no probs with him.

Jammy was regular but doesn't post on our board any longer, Emu was more sporadic, went and said he'd come back here if we ever went up again.
Although he has popped in on a few occasions.

Oh yeah and Hector, the least said about that the better.

Looked like a guy who turned down the wrong street, tried to back out and panicked when he couldn't.
You never know how people might react in that situation either from mental problems or just shear panic.
Nothing excuses the carnage though, if your brain is working right just turn off the engine and wait it out.

Platforms like Twitter are downright dangerous - some of the nonsense I've heard lately from people that are otherwise rational, sensible, decent people is very worrying ...

At least a quarter of my extended family in Liverpool are disgruntled Blueshites. Three of them went to the Med to get away from today. The idea that they (who were our biggest supporters after Hillsborough for over three decades) would drive a ****ing car into fellow Scousers out of spite is ludicrous. And the idea that Man U fans would come over to Liverpool in such a rage to do this is even more barking.

Unfortunately conspiracy theories abound after something like this - way more likely it was just some ordinary Joe who completely lost it whether in anger or in panic ... either way, absolutely tragic for the poor sods he ploughed into ..

I don't think this has anything to do with football at all, just some guy with "problems" that went off the rails.
Not planned, not intended but something that just happened for no reason and innocent people paid the price.

Our friends home safe. No reception on phones so couldn't call anyone.
Glad to hear it, mate. Similar story with my family over there. Took me ages to hear from them. They were at Chappel Street which I think is adjacent to Water Street. They didn’t see the incident and all okay.

Will take relegation and promotion over merely taking part each season each and everytime ... what have you had to celebrate in the last quarter of a century? ... other than perhaps Real Madrid beating Liverpool in a CL final? ... answer is, **** all else ... you've been irrelevant... and little hope of that changing anytime soon ... <laugh>

You celebrate relegation?

really.
Dear me.

silly old fella.
