Not sure if he’s Wills style of player…. But would happily keep Lesley Ukochukwu… we know that Chelsea would probably bin him off anyway….
If there was an award for best player since Martin was sacked, Lesley would be in with a shout (though he'd still lose out to Fernandes). But I can't see Chelsea sanctioning a loan move to the Championship, especially given that other PL clubs will presumably be interested.
Ugochukwu isn’t coming back next season. Why would he even want to? He could get another PL loan or he’ll go for £25m-ish, or be a Chelsea squad player.
Well, we got the new manager in quickly( far quicker than I was expecting) and I just hope we have our ins and outs done quicker than previous years.

Assume the squad have a debrief on yesterdays game and fitness checks before going on their holidays, so a chance for Will to sell his vision and maybe convince that very select list of players who we want to stay.

Fine with that if he plays alongside Edwards. Edwards is right footed so that would fit. Bednarek is obviously close to leaving and THB looks like following him out of the door.
Ideally someone in the mould and age of Fontr would be bloody lovely.
And that would legitimise everything else he said, which if I remember rightly, included that the club want to hold on to Fernandes, and see him, Downes and Charles as our starting midfield next season.
And that the club is frustrated with THB's lack of fitness.

He's a Hungarian International left footed CB playing in Germany, which was exactly the criteria of the original post.

The Ramsdale loan is an interesting option.
If he wants to stay and is happy but doesn’t want to play in the Champ then it puts us in a bit of an awkward position. If we loan him out for the season, we would likely need to replace him unless we are happy with Bazunu and McCarthy (the club may well be).
If we sign someone to replace him and we get promoted Ramsdale returns likely as the best keeper and wanting the number 1 spot back, and the bloke we signs gets ditched either to back up or sold, which seems harsh if he was part of the promotion team. Feels a bit like Ramsdale would be dictating terms to us if he does go on loan.
Obviously if we don’t get promoted then we sell him next summer so doesn’t matter
