They should say “fair enough, you can have the goal, so the results now 2-1.”

It's like when England tried to claim the disallowed Lampard goal was the reason Germany hammered us 1-4, and we would have got through had that not happened.

Saw the game, they were getting hammered and that was pretty much their only chance.

It’s a great feeling for this season and Howe deserves credit for it.

The last two games we bottled it but we can learn from that.

Today proves we don’t have the players to break down well organised sides.

Credit to Moyes and Everton who did a number on us and thankfully it wasn’t critical.

Let’s spend some money.

So glad this has happened to Villa after "Who's Your Next Messiah Ant Or Dec?" bedsheets in 2009. We had now history with them, but they took some weird delight in sending us down.

Well now Grealish's late goal in 2017 gave us the championship and now they've given us a CL place. Cheers <cheers>

Villa trying to rival us but fail to win a trophy and miss out on champions league at our expense...

Any so called Newcastle fan moaning about that result need to go and support the mackems.

It's been the best season in most of our lives for ****s sake.

2 things can be true at the same time.
I'm ecstatic that we have CL football while also being annoyed that we didn't beat Everton.

Overall the season has been fantastic, it' not gonna stop me cursing today's display...

That’s maybe true. But PIF don’t give a **** about the history. They are in it for the now. And the big man was there yesterday and had a meeting with Howe after the match.

They won’t give a **** about the history they want results for their investment. Yesterday was a shocking result. You can say what you want about the season but taking that game in isolation and it is safe to say we where crap.

This is a ridiculous post honestly.

PIF want results for their investment? This year the club won its first trophy in 50 years and qualified for the Champions League. What further results could the PIF have expected this season?

You think that Al-Rumayyan/the PIF look at seasons like a group of isolated games or the overall season and achievements within it?

This is a ridiculous hill to die on GG you're coming across as a complete loon
