They then gave us the championship title with a late Grealish goal in 2017, and have now given us a CL place. It's like they've been trying to make it up to us.

Is there any teams you Toon fans don’t see as rivals?

Spurs
Everton
Villa

That’s off the top of my head. It’s insane, you’re irrelevant to all them clubs and are looking desperate to be relevant, tbh.

We didn't see Villa as rivals, that bedsheet stuff was a bit weird from them tbh.

And I don't see Everton or Spurs as rivals really either.

Possibly Sunderland nowadays tbh




I jest of course. I don't think Spurs is anything other than just on this board. Everton and Villa is just a shared frustration amongst fanbases I think, clubs with a lot of fans who have gone lengths of time not really winning things or competing at the level the fans feel they should be; the biggest teams are winning things and out of our reach to really compete with so we take swings at each other and some element of satisfaction from each others demise. I don't really go in for all that sort of thing myself though, I don't really mind Villa or Everton (the Villa one is particularly weird as they seemed to start that from nowhere).

I think the Villa one is mostly this board too sometimes

There are mags that pop on now and then and have no idea we have a problem with Villa.

I feel nothing towards them, at all tbh. I might have once tho, I can't remember
