I should add there is nothing wrong with the way you buy your jeans, not really what I was getting at. I was more trying to understand the turn up bit, but the ones you gave as an example do look nice.

Yeh they're real. Paid 80quid on sale for em about 6yrs ago from probito. And they was probs still made in a sweatshop tbh lok

Personally I didn't find anything wrong with their Wranglers decades back, and they lasted well. Ridiculous price that.
They are crazy money new, so there's no way I'm dropping £200 on a pair of jeans. But ebay and vinted are great, because like a lot of other things, you get people who buy expensive stuff, wear it a couple of times and then decide they don't like it. I picked a pair up for £30 the other day. I wear jeans most days, so I like something that is quality, will last and look good. Those Selvedge PRPS jeans are the best I've ever worn, so I keep going back for more.

I was trying to think back actually to when I was younger, if I ever turned the bottoms up to my jeans, and I honestly can't remember. I might have done and just forgotten, I know I always had red doc martins, so probably did, when i use to go round beating up all the brown kids in the neighbourhood.
I don’t sell clothes, mate. I’ll keep a few things which will now be my ‘rag’ clothes and the rest that’ll I’ll never wear again will go to charity shops or in the bin depending on the condition.
