You can't really compare Canada or the USA to Europe. What they call liberal over there is pretty right wing by European standards. And socialism is a dirty word, somewhat akin in American eyes to Satanism.

The Tories are dead. The only chance they have of a revival is to ditch the nutters, manu of whom are defecting to Reform anyway, and regroup around what's left of the One Nation wing. But they won't be winning any general elections that way.

They do have universal healthcare and subsidized medicine, social services etc.

Canada is definitely to the left of the US and much closer to Europe (on most things).... Except Alberta.

Very few things in life benefit everyone.

If it makes the fishermen's life worse, that's regrettable... But seems like it will be better for most people. I imagine if reform ever get power they will just tear up the paperwork though.

Yeah he was pro Russian. He lived there for a while. I’m thinking if he knows too much or something the Russians don’t want getting out, I can imagine they’d not hesitate to pull the trigger on him.

Probably is Ukraine, I just wouldn’t rule the Russians given their previous form.
