On General Sale from 14.00 on Wednesday.

So I am hoping that all our gang here are happy bunnies by Thursday having secured a ticket<cheers>

Have had to bite the bullet - I’ve bought myself a season ticket. Didn’t fancy my chances in general sale

I'd not say getting a season ticket is a waste of money, BUT you would have got a ticket.

Wembley will have about 20k empty seats.

I won't be going.
I know someone who could probably get me a ticket, but it's a family thing. I won't be able to get one for anybody else. Sorry.

Would like to go, but not really well enough.
The experience of 2019 was a great one, I am content with remembering being there that day.

Allowing for me minunderstanding, you will be able to bet one for yourself, DEFINITELY without any restrictions.
In that case, why not get a ticket?

Not quite.
I could ask a family member (who has been a ST holder for around 30 years) if they could get me a ticket.
But that would be a big ask, as any such ticket has probably already been promised to someone else - one of their circle of mates. I would be denying a friend of the family a seat at Wembley if I did ask - assuming I was not turned down.
And if I did get a ticket, I would have to use it myself. I could not justify asking for one and then passing it on to somebody else.

As I mentioned, a family matter. And family matters can be complicated.
If I was feeling well enough to go I might consider asking. But to be honest I wouldn't want one of the good friends of my relative (who I don't see very often) to be denied a seat on my account.
I chose to stop buying a season ticket two years ago and I have to accept the consequences of that decision, regardless of why I made it.

Hey ho. As I said, good memories of May 2019. And I guess the new Wembley stadium will look and feel much the same as it did back then.
I'm glad I got at least one chance to experience it.
