Allowing for me minunderstanding, you will be able to bet one for yourself, DEFINITELY without any restrictions.
In that case, why not get a ticket?
Not quite.
I could ask a family member (who has been a ST holder for around 30 years) if they could get me a ticket.
But that would be a big ask, as any such ticket has probably already been promised to someone else - one of their circle of mates. I would be denying a friend of the family a seat at Wembley if I did ask - assuming I was not turned down.
And if I
did get a ticket, I would have to use it myself. I could not justify asking for one and then passing it on to somebody else.
As I mentioned, a family matter. And family matters can be complicated.
If I was feeling well enough to go I
might consider asking. But to be honest I wouldn't want one of the good friends of my relative (who I don't see very often) to be denied a seat on my account.
I chose to stop buying a season ticket two years ago and I have to accept the consequences of that decision, regardless of why I made it.
Hey ho. As I said, good memories of May 2019. And I guess the new Wembley stadium will look and feel much the same as it did back then.
I'm glad I got at least one chance to experience it.
