A Deform councillor in Nottingham has quit within a week of being elected

The report unintentionally says the most on the nose thing about the whole operation
Seven days after fighting an election on a promise to cut spending and waste, the Reform County Councillor for Newark West has resigned which will result in the triggering of a by-election that will cost taxpayers thousands of pounds

If they actually read the New Testament they must wince every paragraph. I'd be interested in their take on the The Good Samaritan. Or Christ's entry to Jerusalem pre crucifixion.

If Jesus existed and was anything like the character portrayed in The Bible, he was a socialist. It's a shame that so many who claim to be his followers are such hypocrites.

My 'born again' sister and her husband have plenty, but are constantly moaning about taxes, pensions, the cost of care, IHT, etc. Some ****er's got to pay tax...it's funny how it should always be someone else.

And this was why I was always hate by my re teachers back in the 1980s ... "jesus was a socialist and dark skinned" were blasphemy <laugh>

Just when you thought our species couldn't deserve extinction anymore than it already does, the Saudis arrange for a fully operational mobile McDonalds to follow the orange ****stain around their country for his visit

Yes, it's literally this bit from The Simpsons

My RE teacher actually taught me critical thinking, the dangerous bastard! <laugh>
It's the kind of religious education that I can strongly approve of.

Here is what each major religion believes.
Here are the tools to best determine how reliable each of their claims are.
Go.

Mine gave me a detention for asking what Buddhism was...

Did you overcome the suffering and impermanence of the detention to achieve enlightenment?
I'm barely joking, as not only did my RE teacher look uncannily like Piper Laurie in Carrie (and her name was Miss White...), but here's the scope of the world's religions taught to me
Judaism - the Holocaust and...no, just the Holocaust, reducing millennia of a religion to a ten year span of German history
Islam - girls can't touch the Quran (so, of course, when she was out the room one of the girls grabbed it out of the cupboard)
Sikhism - mainly surface level stuff about turbans, which in retrospect I wonder if that was due to there being a few Sikhs at my school
Hinduism - surface level stuff about the caste system
Buddhism - never got mentioned once
Shinto - pretty sure my RE teachers had never heard of it
Taoism - see Shinto
Yoruba - see Taoism
Paganism - pretty sure mentioning it would have got you a detention
Voodoo - well that would've got you a detention
Satanism - ...was sorely bloody tempting after five years of this

Are there any politicians who you can say don't fit on that?

Farage is so full of shirt, he could be all 3 faeces.
You have to laugh when xRW 'Reformers', many of whom are former members of the last 3 Tory administrations, criticise a Labour (name only) Party pursuing the exact extremist policies that they themselves have been espousing for 10+ years! <doh> <laugh>
