Remember feeling a bit sorry for the lad at the time - firmly believe he was just a bit naive ... but he should have been better advised.

If you go to a fancy dress party as Genghis Khan I don't think it can be construed that you are an advocate of the killing of the millions that died in the wake of the *****l empire expansion.

Julius Caeser, Alexander the Great and Napoleon Bonaparte weren't exactly humanitarians either...

Fact is, 'villains' do tend to make the best fancy dress characters ...

It's amazing how many people swallow the nonsense they are fed on social media without even bothering to do a basic check. People just either cba to dig a bit deeper into a story or like Welshie says, they are just stupid and will accept stuff at face value. Also as he mentioned, some people are so entrenched in their thinking that it backs up their belief system and thus it feeds into itself in an never ending confirmation bias loop, even if it is completely made up.

This is what happens when you replace actual trusted news sources with internet nobodies, and you replace scientists with instagram influencers.

The first one shouldn't trouble you ... it's theology ... many individuals in the Bible are mentioned in the Quran and indeed in Judaism... even to Christians Jesus was seen as the 'King of the Jews'...

... but the Quran was first scribed several hundred years after the Bible ... so not sure why the claim that Jesus is quoted as saying he believes in God (the Arabic word for God) should make anyone feel threatened tbh ...

I see someone has attacked Keir Starmers private home, I didn't take too much notice when I first heard the story as it seemed a minor incident, but having seen the news now it looks something more sinister.
