Advanced talks with Frimpong apparently. Seems bit of a no brainer on that one.

right age. Very attacking and more a rwb / winger than proper rb but offers serious pace to get up and down and rotate with Bradley.

    Home grown
knows and seems to get on with vvd grav and gakpo so from personality pov should fit in nicely.
    30ish mil release clause

Yeah, I would think Tsimikas would have plenty of options around Europe if he wants them. Wages could be the only issue.

    I think so. 1st June 2025.

When you think a out it Phillips has probably cost us more than his laon fees as his wages of 65k a week were stupid as ****. We could have got 8 or 10mil back or let him go for smaller fee just to say bye.

Anyway. That's that period over and done with.

Hopefully we are going to do a little better in the laon market this year. So many injuries, so many players who haven't a hope of a senior career at the levels they are being placed at as they don't have thr physicality.

So frimpong. The "rumour" is convienent but beleivable so many of the usual sorts will drive the hell out of it.

    a) age 24. just about bang on our range
    b) Cost 35 or 30 mil depending on who you believe. Theres resale value there. supposedly we can even pay 7.5mil per year for 5 years to get him
    c) wage of 100k or so
    d) dutch so vvd will like him
    e) devout christain so alisson will like him

Like everything screams BELIEVE this is going to happen.

I mean if you get a player over 5 years and the amoritisation bascially writes off the fee each year then why wouldn't you.

    yeahhhhh no.

    Thats click bait.

LFC don't have many good enough. If any for real madrid.

    Macallister is too slow
Gravenberch isn't good enough defensively or in intensity terms.

They can have nunez though. 100mil.

And it'll sell a lot of adverts on the websites peddling it until it's done.

Real Madrid said the asking price of Ibrahim Konate is too much for them to pay. Liverpool wants £84m for him.PSG has registered their interest too.

Thats a normal fee these days for a top class defender who is 25!!
Real Madrid are tripping balls if they think any club is going to release a title winning CB, who is under 30, for any less than £80m these days.

Ola Aina would be one to keep an eye on for me. Been brilliant for Forest both offensively and defensively. 28 years old and available on a free.

covers but left back and right back. Prob wouldn’t want to come to be back up squad player but would be great option as cover or competing with Bradley for RB for a year or two.

    So playing thr gsme

    Alisson
    Frimpong konate vvd kerkez

That's the rumoured back line and assumed.konate signs back up.

    Then first choice cms
    Gravenberch macallister

    Then the forwards

    Salah Szoboszlai gakpo/Diaz

Really thr next name to see is the striker

Is this first 11 "good enough" to win a major European tie like the one we experienced in Paris?

I think right now it's not just an 11 man sport any more. With 5 subs you really have a 15 man sport. With a lot of options to change early and a lot of changes.

    Marmadashvill
    Bradley
    Robertson
    Quansah
    Jones
    Diaz/gakpo

There's a distinct lack of quality options in attack. Jota, chiesa, Elliott. You are never winning in Europe with that.

Same for cm. We needed an option to replace tired legs and hones is not that.

    So

    Frimpong
    Kerkez
    Striker
    Winger
    Cm

That'd be a big only summer Imo

Konate current contract expires at the end of next season . He is currently on £80000 a week and wants £200000 a week to sign the new contract. Something have to give, but I don't know. Liverpool can meet halfway.

    So Frimpong seems 90% done.

Reports now then Liverpool and Arsenal are front for Huijsen. Be interesting one that - feel like he prob needs another year playing 38 games for Bournemouth to be honest, but while his release clause is what it is, can see teams taking a risk and going for him.

Just not sure he joins as first choice for either of those clubs unless some dramatic movement with saliba and Konate.
