I love how many Arsenal fans seemed to have already adopted a "who cares, the season is over" vibe. If we actually beat them next week (for the 4th time this season) then they'd likely be 4th in the league and only a point above 6th going into the last game of the season. Now that would be funny.
Oh yeah we're underdogs for sure and I'd expect a close defeat. I just find it amusing that despite all the bluster of "best club in Europe" nonesense that's been spouted they aren't actually assured Champions League football for next season yet. The club seems to be serving up arrogance and entitlement in abundance and it's always fun to see that get the outcome it deserves.
One win is a guarantee realistically as it takes us to 69 points. Forest can't reach that and Chelsea can only do so by beating Forest (and we'd still probably be above them on GD). Villa can get 69 points but would need to bridge a -16 goal difference in two games. Even a draw is more than likely enough as for us to be overtaken it would need two of those teams to win all their remaining games and given that Chelsea play Forest last game it would only not be enough if Villa win both their games AND whoever wins between Forest-Chelsea also winning their other game.
Yeah that's about right I think although Chelsea could potentially close the gd down. Tricky games I think because arsenal away is tough and Everton under Moyes have been very good.
