They'll trash tottenham but can see them slipping up away to Man Utd. I think they'll get 4 points + whatever they get today. If we get a better result than Villa this weekend then by tomorrow night we could have almost guaranteed top 5 (as Chelsea and Forst still have to play one another). Win ideally - then it's almost a done deal - but it'll be interesting to see the reaction on here if we draw with people bemoaning how we've blown it despite us still sitting in a top 5 position.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment I'd say "top 5 ideally" rather than 5th. If we can finish higher then that's great. That said, the lowest we can now finish is 7th and given we had no European football this year having a season where we qualified through winning a cup and now would have been guaranteed a spot through the league as well is progress irrespective of what transpires over the next few weeks. Not just winning a cup but turning up and beating some big teams this season (home and away) has really got a monkey of our back. Think we've beaten all the top 8 this season and all the "big 6" too (some of them 2-3 times).
This is true, but Arsenal coming 4th in a 2 horse race would be hilarious! Also extra prize money will help for being higher up the league...
Ffs Villa could have 3 red cards (Mongs elbow, Asencio handball 2nd yellow, Ramsey violent conduct sticking his head in) and yet are 1-0 up…
They've played well..I think it's beginning to look very difficult for Newcastle. Need Bournemouth to get something.
The match is far from over and we needed to win tomorrow either way. But yeah, it isn't ideal if it stays like this.
