Or a damning indictment of the huge gap in financial clout between the Premier League and every other top division bar a handful of clubs. Chelsea pissing their way to the final of the European Sherpa Vans Trophy with a rabble of kids and players they’d forgotten existed.
Got to agree if United and Spurs made the final it says a lot about the quality of the tournament as a whole Simod Cup
All four are playing for the prize of finishing bottom next season... Burnley have a chance albeit slim... Leeds, if they spend big, may just make it...
Big family do, otherwise would have liked to watch to see him in action. Assuming he's coming back to us next season, will he be the young new hope or flop?
Saints get the point they needed to avoid lowest ever PL total by holding Citeh 0-0, no one saw that coming. I guess the odds at kick off would have been astronomical...
Let them battle it out in pre-season by all means but I’d like to think he’s currently ahead in that fairly tragic race and it’s up to Celar to show he deserves to be first choice. If we start the season with what we have now I’d have thought our best bet is giving him a run.
Without being fully aware of the facts… when we send a player out on loan for development, is the target club assessed for playing style to match ours? (God forbid). Assuming that’s the case, he should be good for the next phase… who knows?
Don’t shoot the messenger (actually it’s @qprbeth), but apparently Orient have an agreement to sign Kelman. I have thought it odd that there has been zero celebration or even reference to his achievements on the offish. With Nourry having a high level of paranoia about contract details and not sharing any details I don’t know if he’s even our player after this season.
The official Twitter has given him a lot of coverage the last few weeks. Apparently their manager said they’ve got an agreement which sounds ominous. Only we could spend a fee, get no return on four years of wages then sell for peanuts once he’s ready to play.
