**** day ... got a call late this morning that my cousin, two years younger, had died overnight ... taken into hospital on Saturday with extreme vomiting and diarrhea... they let him out but had to rush him back in yesterday as the symptoms persisted - apparently then caused a heart attack and they tried for an hour to resuscitate before giving up ... absolutely devastated ... more like a brother to me than a cousin ... played footie together, watched footie together (went home and away everywhere during the Jock Wallace and Gordon Milne eras) was his best man at his wedding ... struggling to believe it ...

Agree with all that but think he used my eyes for the cutting in.
... the cutting in was a nightmare - took ages - Victorian house with plaster coving that likely had hundreds of coats of **** knows what - loads of little dents, holes and pockets ...
