You always had a soft spot for him, remember when Izak signed!Wilsons a good player, so he'd be good back up.

He was but father time catches up with us all. He's been a great player for us.

Don't think so,who's the 2nd choice striker? It'll be very difficult to get a 3rd choice striker that's a better player.

Better than slo mo? Anyone would be.It'll be very difficult to get a 3rd choice striker that's a better player.
We have one but he doesn't get playedThe striker we sign this summer

We have one but he doesn't get played![]()
Hmmmm....We don't know how good he is but we're in for another anyway.
Wilsons a good player, so he'd be good back up.
He ****ing isn’t.
Neave and Osula are both better. Why? Because they can ****ing move. Wilson has done nothing for 12 months maybe more and I’m bored of the old boys are ok attitude from the club.
I’m stunned Lascelles has a new contract. I’ll be dumbstruck if Wilson gets one. One year on I’m yet to see one decent bit of input from Paul Mitchell.
He's been injured that's all, but he looked sharp on Sunday, and is a good squad player moving forward.
You don’t say!
He’s ****ing clart. He missed a great late chance and keeping dogshit hangers on like him around isn’t ambitious.
Assuming we sign another striker wouldn't it be advantageous to have Wilson also?
No, Osula and Neave need minutes. Wilson has contributed absolutely **** all to the point where on Sunday he cost us three points.
I do think we need to toughen up. Howe was doing this with Ritchie, chucking him on here and there and effectively taking us down to 10 men. If aspirations are UCL every season then players like Trippier, Wilson, Longstaff, Schar, Burn need to be on the periphery at best, not making 20+ apps.
I was on board with that, but I think Howes done enough now to not be questioned that's all. We've litterally won a trophy and exceeded my expectations over the last 3 years.
Think that if its a goal you are looking for off the bench in a tight game, Wilson is currently a better option than Osula. While latter is enthusiastic and will run his socks off he is not as clinical. Wilson's pace has dropped off dramatically and he can't play the lone striker role anymore, as just doesn't seem able to put the work in that is required but feel he is the right option from the bench.Sure, but on a forum the whole point of being here is to question, suggest, moan, praise, etc., right? I agree Howe has now done more than enough for questions about him being in charge to be completely silenced, doesn't mean he's above any criticism and I felt bringing on Wilson ahead of Osula, who's literally going to be itching to get on after his first goal, was a woeful decision. Wilson was useless and looked like he was 50 years old with that attempted finish at the end vs Brighton. He's awful and needs to go.
And I'm just highlighting that Howe has previous on this. Not just here but at Bournemouth too. I think he'd be a better manager if he just toughened up a little bit and stopped being quite so swayed by loyalty.
