Slot disemboweled the side with his midfield selection. It's just disrespect and contempt towards the smaller clubs competing for the CL, but due to their ownership having a well documented part in trying to help create a closed shop for themselves and the rest of the 'big 6', there will likely be many that think it more.

There was absolutely no need at all to play anything other than a full strength XI. What the **** is anyone rested for? It’s disgusting.

Felt a lot like the FA Cup that City gifted to Man U, meant Newcastle missed out on everything.

Why would Liverpool bother going full tilt. If we're looking for a plus it's that Chelsea will think they're better than they are.

Other than making sure they don't get injuries and are daft enough to take risks they simply don't need to.

The manager also gets to look at other players and give them game time.

Honestly Chelsea weren't that good. It was close at the end with Liverpool going for the equaliser despite all the changes.
 
Put everything you own on a forest win tomorrow then. It's becoming clear nothing will go our way in the other games we have an interest.

I actually suspect Chelsea and Forest will somehow win on the final day when they play eachother.

I didn’t realise they played each other. Interesting.

Lets hope we just beat Chelsea and Arsenal and we don’t have to worry about it.

I'm happy with the point, but I'm getting a strong feeling we're not going to beat Chelsea and Everton.

There's just nothing going for us the last 3 weeks inthe other games.... Only 1 result went for us... It's Newcastle and forest dropping points and none of the other 3 sides are.

We should be ok. I trust Howe. Despite what a lot of people think on this forum.

The cult are out in force when they don’t like the truth.

But I feel we just have enough points to get over the line.

I'm not so sure because anything can happen. It's just a case of wait and see. Chelsea are more than capable of winning next week.... The table tells us they're just as good as Newcastle and and we're missing Joelinton.

I don't mind 6th because we could win that competition and if Isak wants to go let him go. The project won't stop.

I like the way Newcastle play, it's proving very successful, entertaining, and we simply need a bit more depth in quality.

These formations all come in and out of fashion, so I don't mind Newcastle having a style they stick to. For years we didn't even have one and we watched on clubs like Swansea and Bournemouth displaying one.

Yeah, I don’t mind or care - what I find interesting is Amorims stuck with 3 and it hasn’t worked at all. Chelsea also do it. I wonder about it, but I would put money on Howe exposing it on Sunday.
