Hope Elliott can force his way into team. I know some have doubts but can tell that he loves the club more than anyone else there and the things he’s saying about wanting to be at the club, wanting to spend rest of career here etc, it really comes across as genuine
He does ok. What did he do v Plymouth. What's cheisa do? Neither got much time after thst. They were seen as the guys ro lead the side thst day and they simply didn't. Chiesa can't run. Unfit. Elliott can run but he passes backwards too.much and frankly never gets a foot in. The only contact I've seen from him is pushing Richardson. This is a recurring theme since his bad ankle injury. I am sure slot just sees that lack of ability to win a duel and lack of positivity
We saw him against Plymouth. He's like one 9f those cartoon characters that you see thier legs furiously spinning bit they are going nowhere.
Diaz contract talks at the end of the season. Odd one still not sure where his best role for us is. Gakpo seems more effective than him on the left, be interesting see if Diaz continues playing 9 next season though.
agreed think he has had a good season with an improved end result though that still has room for improvement .
