I knew I'd recognised something about it, around 1.18+ was what stuck in my head as reminiscent. I got there eventually with a little google help, Alice Cooper Poison!

Yeah I agree with them, I thought the guitar bit was in my words, the nice little twist in it, spanish guitar is it?...

I like this one as well, its as if the younger Americans never knew that Britain had so much in the sixties and seventies

Another one of the same reviewers, I've never heard anyone dissect Gerry Rafferty before so thought I'd give it a listen, the Sax gets me everytime in it...

This is what the internet is for, sharing good things and finding out what was best about British Music before Brit Pop ****ed it all up

Just finished listening to Gerry Rafferty review, it's one song where the same feelings about it have never changed, and it's just the Sax and what they called the musicality of it. The girl was completely sold on it. I have done the chorus on guitar, it is easy, but would need to refresh my finger memory on it - maybe one day I'll get a sax.....or maybe one day I won't in case someone kills me lol. Will listen to your one now Duggie.

When we go on holiday in Island Blue in Pefkos on Rhodes there is a little Beach Taverna called Lee Beach where we often have lunch and above them they have one of the poshest restaurants in the resort, on Sunday evenings they have a Sax Player and the highlight is always when he plays Baker Street solo halfway through the set, biggest applause on the night and makes it worth while that it is the dearest meal of the holiday

I'll leave you this one that I remembered from the covid lockdown...not as good as Rafferty but just for the unity he brought to people's lives at the time...

Why did Brit Pop **** it up? Genuine question I'm interested in what you mean.

Did not **** it up as such but did lead to years of banality with the likes of Ed Sheeren with the odd breath of fresh air and talent like Amy Winehouse and a lot of Adeles stuff but in all just boring boring trash, although that may have been more down to everything Simon Cowell was involved in
