Ps I do like winning the league - I grew up watching rangers win everything .

You had 8/9 years of buckshee Champions league financials and did nothing with it apart from winning a one horse race. You're still doing it and it's probably 30/70 you qualify for next seasons Champions league.

The myth that Celtic managers haven't been backed is laughable tbh. You outspend the rest of Scottish football every window. It's got nothing to do with finance, you're just not a good side and haven't been for 2 decades. A club that is less than 15 years old out performs you nearly every season and has been the driving force in getting you a free ride into the champions league.

Of course it all about winning the league in any country. I wish it was us today winning the league but to say winning the league is a gateway into Europe when your club's been pretty much an embarrassment in Europe for 20 years is a bit much.

we dont spend a penny on players, we make a profit on them

sevco are the only club that makes a significant net investment on players

I wouldn't bet against 5iar. Rangers are a basket case and it will take some time to sort it out.

Be a miracle if 49Gers win the league next season.

would be because apparenly 49ers have nothing to do with it, its just a guy who knows them or something
 
There’s being backed to flack track bully Scottish football but not backed to make in roads in CL.

That Celtic team would have got to QF as a min in EL.

To get to QF in CL , needed at least 2 more of quality (a better Striker than Kyogo and a better CB than CCV.) . Next season , need same plus a better CM than McGregor and an always fit Tierney.

The doing Celtic took from Dortmund changed Rodgers - he was pretending we could go toe to toe with teams from Germany etc but we can’t - we had to be more rangers in Europe like - pragmatic .

Oh please!

You went out the champions league and into the EL where you got pumped and dropped into the diddy cup and got pumped in that with Ange and a team that cost the best part of 40 mill.
 
celtic have optimized for beating part time anti football teams in scotland to get the champions league money, rather than actually competing at that level which requires a completely different approach

sevco have optimized for playing anti football in europe and struggle to beat the anti football part timers in scotland as consistently as celtic

celtic have no excuses not to optimize for both, they have the resources but its about making money first at celtic, football is secondary

What was different this season than the previous 20?

You beat Diddy teams and qualified for the knockout stages where you...checks notes...lost...again.

Yip the improvement in Celtic’s chances of qualifying out of the "group" stage was obvious because of the new format apart from that it was just another season of underperforming in the Theatre of Screams.

Same shìt, different season.
 
i dont think we improved much at all in europe, just got a very flukey draw that ended up bieng mostly europa level teams, we had the classic 7-1 drubbing Rodgers is famous for

we played well in the 2nd leg against Bayern, but they were missing Harry Kane and were toothless, we played them without a striker a few years ago also, and it was close but no cigar as always

european standards have fallen so far at celtic that achieving the bare minimum feels like improvement
