Number 2, we should have been looking at new keepers for months, regardless where we were to be next season.
And lastly but by no means least a GK!
Sam Johnstone and Aaron Ramsdale are the names in the picture as a new 1st choice GK
I really hoped Burnley would fail and we’d get Trafford
I think Johnstone is way past his best.
Ramsgate just seems to get relegated where ever he goes.
Think we should be looking at better than those

If we could sign Solomon I’d be tempted to let Gnonto leave. Unless we can snap up some out of contract players I can’t see us signing 9ish new players and with the urgency being a new first choice 9 and 10 some of my list will surely have to remain

I think there is a point of know your level right now. We ain't going to get De Gea.
Ramsdale does get relegated but those have been with some appalling teams. You look at his time with Arsenal and it wasn't too bad.
Johnstone is know your level. I think he is our level unless with go for Henderson at Palace and Kelleher is wanted by Chelsea.
Ipswich have been slating their now reserve keeper Muric, Man United have a terrible one, Chelsea are on the hunt, there is definitely a shortage right now of good Keepers
Man United are looking for a new keeper, same as Newcastle.

I did wonder if the one you bought from WBA had a release fee on relegation and if he was any good. I’m amazed Muric played so many games for Burnley, Ipswich fans moaned about him every match
I don’t really think going for Fiorentina’s GK is above our level. If we aren’t ambitious we’ll go down. If we buy players for our ‘level’ are we not just going to be Ipswich again, I thought they might’ve stayed up as they bought fairly well but they were miles off it. Think we need to be signing players in the top 10 squad that aren’t problem children but want more game time and top European players.
Mostly agree however I do think one of Byram or Firpo could be used as squad players otherwise we’ll need to sign 2 LBs. I also think Bamford could be a decent squad player so we have 3 STs.
